Real name: Ito Yasutoshi, 4th generation of Tankyo kiln. Started making blue and white pots around 1969. Has won numerous awards at various exhibitions, including the Best Artist Award, Juseki-sha Award, and Kindai Publishing Award, for his elegant brushwork in blue and white, red painting, and overglaze enamel. His painting style is heavily influenced by Yusen, evolving from a meticulously detailed early style to a bolder, more abbreviated style, with changes in color usage.
