[Used] Bonsai Pot, Tokoname, Hideaki, Small Pot, Longest Side approx. 8cm, Round Pot, Clayware, Current Stock, Used Pot Real name: Hideaki Shimizu. His father, Yozan, was a potter of bonsai containers and one of Tokoname's leading glaze masters. His products are mainly small and medium-sized glazed items up to about 50cm, with round pots typically made on a potter's wheel and other bonsai containers made using molds. The molds are cast thickly and then re-carved by Hideaki himself. He produces a wide variety of items, including cat's paw feet, painted pots, and clay-colored pots, with some being closer to one-off creations and others mass-produced.
