Green Neon Shrimp (Neocaridina denticulata)
The green crystal shrimp is green all over and very beautiful. The green color varies among individuals, some are yellow-green, some are dark green, and very few are orange-yellow.
Green crystal shrimps become very discolored when transported away from light. The color becomes lighter and white (no green appearance). After passing through the water and entering the tank, the color will slowly recover. The color recovery will take 7 to 10 days. If the environmental water quality is not suitable for growth, the shrimp will continue to appear. White, the color will return when the shrimps are mature and can reproduce. The bottom of the tank must be covered with shrimp mud.
Adult size: about 3cm
