眼斑螳螂，俗称印度花螳螂，是一种以绝佳拟态闻名的小型螳螂。它们主要栖息在亚洲的热带丛林中，体色翠绿或黄褐，能完美伪装成花朵或叶片。其最引人注目的特征，是前翅内侧那一对鲜艳醒目的眼状斑纹。在受到威胁时，螳螂会猛然展开双翅，露出这对巨大的“假眼”，瞬间吓退捕食者。这一独特的防御策略，加上温顺的习性，使其成为了备受青睐的观赏性昆虫宠物。
飼養建議：
- 帶網孔或紗網蓋的塑料盒/亞克力盒，高度需是其體長的2倍以上，確保其有足夠空間倒掛蛻皮
- 在容器內放置樹枝、藤蔓等供其攀爬和倒掛，不建議使用土壤墊材，可鋪紙巾方便清理
- 溫度保持在22-28°C的溫暖環境，濕度維持在60%-80%
- 須投餵活體昆蟲，如果蠅、櫻桃蟑螂、蟋蟀等，食物大小應小於螳螂的體型
- 螳螂有極強領地意識，必須單只飼養
