Bonsai Pot: Tani Ranzan Small Pot, Length approx. 11.3cm, Mokkō-shaped, Sometsuke Dragon, Signature, Contemporary Artist, Ornamental, New, Actual Item Tani Ranzan (real name: Tani Hiroyuki, born in Saitama Prefecture). His bonsai hobby led him to create small pots. In 1979, he and five friends built a communal kiln and named it Rokuraku Kiln. He might be better known by his artist name Rokuraku Ranzan. In 1985, he received the Chairman's Award at the National Amateur Small Pot Artist Exhibition, the Special Encouragement Award at the 2nd BONSAI Vessel Exhibition, and the Encouragement Award at the 1st Contemporary Small Pot Artist Exhibition.
