Bonsai pot, Yozan, small size, approximately 12.5cm long, round pot, glazed, current item, new. Yozan's real name is Masakazu Shimizu. Prior to establishing his own kiln, he worked as a ceramic shaper in Tokoname. After becoming independent, he began producing hand-pressed items such as small glazed pots. He is highly regarded for both his molds and glazes, which encompass a wide range of styles, from subdued colors to kiln-changed pieces. In the 1970s, his son Hideaki joined the workshop, adding bright, modern glazes to their repertoire.
