Bonsai Pot: Tokoname, Yozan Kiln, Eimei. Small size, approximately 18cm long. Oval pot with outer rim, koban shape. Lapis lazuli glaze. New. Mass-produced item. Real name: Eimei Shimizu. His father, Yozan, was a bonsai pot craftsman and one of Tokoname's leading glaze experts. His products mainly consist of small to medium-sized glazed items, up to about 50cm. Round pots are typically made on a potter's wheel, while other bonsai pots are made using molds. The molded pots are initially thick and then re-carved by Eimei himself. He produces a diverse range of items, including those with cat-foot legs, hand-painting, and unglazed "mud-colored" pots, with some items being close to one-off productions and others being mass-produced. *Please note that this is a mass-produced item, so the image shown is a sample.*
