Bonsai Pot Tokoname Shibakatsu Small, long side approx. 16.8cm, square pot with base band, unglazed pot, new condition. Real name: Shibata Katsuichi. Shibakatsu-en kiln established in 1977. Previously focused on mold-formed pots, but in recent years has shifted to handmade pots using slab and mold techniques. Produces a wide range of pots, from unglazed types like Tokoname Shudei (red clay) and Tokoname Murasaki-dei (purple clay/mouse grey clay) to glazed pots, with a rich variety of colors and forms.
