Bonsai pot, Tokoname, Shibakatsu, small size, approx. 14.7cm long, square pot, with lower band, unglazed, current stock, new. Real name: Katsuichi Shibata. Established Shibakatsu-en kiln in 1977. Previously focused on molded pots, but in recent years has shifted to primarily handmade pots using slab and molding techniques. Produces a wide range of pots, from various clay colors such as Tokoname red clay, Tokoname purple clay, and grey clay, to glazed pots, with a rich variety of colors and shapes.
