The pearl butterfly is native to Lake Tanganyik in Africa. Juvenile fish have white pearly spots on a black body. When mature, only a wide white band appears behind the chest. It likes to eat adherent algae, and competition among the same species is fierce, so be careful when breeding in polyculture.
Adult size: about 8CM
Breeding water temperature: 22℃-28℃
Food: Fish food, red worms, brine shrimp
