Real name: Ito Yasutoshi, fourth-generation owner of Tankyo Kiln. Began making sometsuke pots around 1969. Awarded Best Artist at various exhibitions, as well as the Juseki-sha Award and Kindai Shuppansha Award. His sometsuke, aka-e, and iro-e pieces are highly acclaimed for their elegant brushwork, and he has received numerous awards. His painting style is heavily influenced by Yusen; starting with a meticulously detailed approach in his early works, it gradually transitioned to a more simplified style with thicker lines.
