Coelogyne usitana is mainly distributed in Vietnam and Laos, growing epiphytically on trees in forests at altitudes of 1300-1500 meters. It boasts unique morphological features and beautiful flower colors. The stems are erect or oblique, stout, and hard, with leaves arranged in two rows, dark green with purple spots, and axillary inflorescences. Wild resources of Coelogyne usitana are scarce, but in recent years, artificial cultivation and propagation have made it available in the horticultural market.
