His father, Yozan, was a potter specializing in bonsai containers and a master glazer, one of the most prominent in Tokoname. His products primarily consist of small to medium-sized glazed items, up to about 50 cm. Round pots are generally made on a potter's wheel, while other bonsai containers are press-molded. The press-molded items are initially made thick and then re-carved by Eimei himself. His diverse range includes cat-leg designs, painted pots, and natural clay-colored pots, with both unique, almost one-of-a-kind pieces and mass-produced items.
