Shuho: Kataoka Susumu, the fourth generation owner of Kataoka Pottery, founded in 1923, renamed his pottery "Yoshimura Pottery" in 1973. The following year, 1974, he inherited the "Shuho" kiln name. His pottery techniques are diverse, including coil building and press molding. His pots are characterized by clean forms with a certain rustic charm.
