Bonsai pot, Tani Arashiyama, small size, approximately 12.3cm long, oval pot, polychrome landscape design, existing used pot. Real name: Tani Hiroyuki. His hobby of bonsai led him to create small pots. In 1979, he and six friends built a joint kiln and named it Rokuraku Kiln. The kiln name Rokuraku-gama may be more well-known. In 1985, he received the Chairman's Award at the National Amateur Small Pot Artists Exhibition, the Special Encouragement Award at the 2nd BONSAI Container Exhibition, and the Encouragement Award at the 1st Contemporary Small Pot Artists Exhibition. He produced few works due to his busy schedule, but he has been actively engaged in pottery since returning to his hometown.
