Currently, he is considered one of Japan's leading makers of glazed bonsai pots, not just in Tokoname. In recent years, he has also been working with Nanban-style unglazed ceramics, including pieces with partially ash-glazed surfaces, which are popular for their exquisite Nanban flavor.
