Shibakatsu-en kiln established in 1977. Previously, pressed molds were primarily used, but in recent years, production has shifted mainly to handmade pieces using slab and pressed molding techniques. The kiln produces a wide range of pots, from unglazed pots in various clay colors such as Tokoname red clay, Tokoname purple clay, and grey clay, to glazed pots, with a rich variety of colors and shapes.
