Bonsai Pot Arashiyama Bean Pot, longest side approx. 3.8 cm, oval pot, woven basket, with crab ornament, ornamental, actual item, used pot. Real name: Tani Hiroyuki. His hobby of bonsai led him to produce small pots. In 1979, he and six friends built a joint kiln and named it Rokuraku-gama. He might be better known by his potter's name Rokuraku-gama. In 1985, he received the Chairman's Award at the National Amateur Small Pot Artists Exhibition, the Special Encouragement Award at the 2nd BONSAI Container Exhibition, and the Encouragement Award at the 1st Contemporary Small Pot Artists Exhibition. Although he produced little due to his busy schedule, he has been actively engaged in pottery production since returning to his hometown.
