Siberian spiny loach (Cobitis sinensis)

Chinese loach is a freshwater bottom fish. It is common in shallow waters with sandy mud bottoms in rivers and lakes with relatively clear water quality at low altitudes. It likes to inhabit muddy, sandy or sedimentary bottom waters with relatively gentle flow in streams.
