冰花，別稱露子花，為番杏科露子花屬多年生肉質草本植物。其植株特徵為細莖帶微小肉質纖毛，分枝多，葉片對生且呈半圓形或棒狀，表面密布半透明肉質纖毛。地下莖能形成粗壯的塊根，形似「人參娃娃」，因而得名。
