-Pteris cretica L. is one of the most unique members of the fern family. -Native to Yunnan, China and eastern Asia, like the white-tailed fern, warm temperatures range from 15 to 26°C. -Pteris cretica L. prefers bright, indirect light indoors, and tricolor stems grow better in partially shaded positions. Due to its low drought tolerance, the plant requires adequate humidity of 70 to 80 percent. The low-maintenance but attractive fern can reach a height of 8 to 24 inches, but loses its leaves in winter and remains a great choice for indoor freshness.
